CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (CSIR-IIIM), Jammu, conducted the IISF outreach programme on 18 December 2023. The programme was attended by 700 students and teachers drawn from various schools in the Jammu region. Dr Zabeer Ahmed, Director, CSIR-IIIM, encouraged the students to participate in IISF-2023 in large numbers and assured them of full support in pursuing scientific inquiry. He also mentioned the other society-related activities taken up by CSIR-IIIM. He further informed the students to connect through the ‘Viksit Bharat @2047’ portal and share their innovative ideas.

The guest from VIBHA, Prof. Pawanesh Abrol, Vice President and HoD, Department of Computer Science, University of Jammu, gave a detailed presentation regarding various events to be organised during IISF-2023. Earlier, Dr Dhiraj Vyas, Head, Plant Sciences Division, coordinator of the event, in his welcome address, informed about the four aspects of doing ‘wonderful’ science and arranging such events & their benefits.

The programme was concluded with the vote of thanks by Er Abdul Rahim, Chief Scientist & Head, RMBD&IST.
