CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, celebrated the 81st Foundation Day of the CSIR on 26 September 2022. On this occasion, CSIR-NIO invited students and the public at large for its Open Day, to know more about the scientific endeavours in ocean research. The students got an opportunity to visit the exhibition on marine resources and instruments and view films on ocean sciences. A lecture on 'Careers in oceanography' was delivered on this occasion for the students of standards XI and XII at CSIR-NIO auditorium.
