CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), Durgapur, has developed a UV-C Disinfected Temperature Controlled Mechanised Segregation System for decentralised municipal solid waste disposal. The innovative waste disposal technology could be effective in breaking the COVID-19 chain.
