CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), Lucknow, organised a one-day training cum demonstration programme on 23 July 2024. It was a sponsored project organised by CSIR Aroma Mission and HALEON Pvt. Ltd. The programme was imparted to 25 lead farmers to produce planting material from the mentha tops for sustainability in menthol mint cultivation.

During the day, farmers were also provided with demonstrations on Early Mint Technology, CIMAP technology on beneficial microbes during sucker production, cutlery items through agro-waste, and vermicomposting. The Mentha top planting material was also handed over to the farmers.
